A Florida fine dining experience at Baleen, Naples features a whimsical monkey motif lending a lighthearted air to its candlelit elegance with mirrored banquettes and monkeys climbing plaster torchères, set amidst oak-paneled walls, white-linen tablecloths and mahogany furnishings.
Toes-in-the-sand Florida dining takes place as LaPlaya’s Baleen spills out through grand doors to a terrace with tables overlooking the sweeping beach and ends with a few more tables for cocktails where diners are happy to go barefoot.
Whether seated in an indoor epicurean enclave or a barefoot beach table, guests enjoy three daily seating’s at Baleen with palate-pleasing options including a breakfast menu with a Gulf Coast twist on traditional favorites, such as the crab & avocado eggs benedict and frittata with lobster, asparagus & brie topped with fresh herbs and crème fraiche. The lunch menu features gourmet sandwiches and salads such as the chopped BLT salad with sugar herb roasted bacon, chopped tomato, jalapeno ranch and sherry bacon dressing.
With exceptional entrees such as the flash grilled Ahi Tuna, rustic three bean ragout wilted spinach, grain mustard aioli, and Roasted Natural Chicken with goat cheese dumplings, wild mushrooms and sundried tomatoes, the dinner menu is truly novel, and starting up the night, the intimate beach fire pit and Baleen Bar feature a fantastic wine-by-the-glass program, as well as extensive list of martinis and classic cocktails.
