Palm Cottage – Historic Home
Palm Cottage is 102 years old and the second oldest house in Collier County. The house was built in 1895 for Henry Watterson, the famous editor of the Louisville Courier-Journal. The walls are of tabbie mortar, which is a process of burning seashells over buttonwood. Palm Cottage has been placed on the state register of historic sites and included in the National Register of Historic Places. It's very rare to qualify for the National Historic Registry. Collier County Museum
Journey back over 10,000 years of Southwest Florida’s unique past at the Collier County Museum. von Liebig Art Center
The von Liebig Art Guild and Naples Art Center is home to exhibitions and cultural events. In May 1998, the Naples Art Association announced the formation of a collection in order to exhibit and interpret the work of American artists from 1950 forward who exhibit periodically at The von Liebig Art Center and on loan to other venues.
