One Night Only – Dance & Dine Under The Stars Argentine-Style At The Laplaya Beach And Golf Resort
NAPLES, Fla. (February 2019) – BALEEN is renowned for its outstanding cuisine and its status as Naples’ most romantic seaside restaurant. Adding some extra spice and flair to their menu, the BALEEN team will be hosting an inaugural “Asado, Malbec, Tango Dinner” on March 6th.
The special menu will be cooked upon an authentic Argentinian parrilla – pronounced pa-ree-ja (the double “l” makes a “sh” or “j” sound) – grill and will be prepared in the classic Argentine style. Highlights include:
- Ensalada Rusa (a favorite Latin American potato salad)
- Las Achuras (Chorizo sausage with caramelized onions)
- Morcilla (Blood sausage)
- Grilled Provoleta (Traditional Argentine Grilled Cheese Slice)
- Parillada (Ribs)
- Lomo de Bife (Grilled Tenderloin)
- Bife Ancho (Grilled Rib Eye)
- Bife de Choizo (Grilled Sirloin with Chimichurri)
- Grilled Vegetables
- A selection of classic Spanish postres including flan, dulce de leche, tres leches shooters, parfaits and more
All guests will receive a pour of Argentinian Chardonnay or Malbec on arrival. Dinner will be served at one 6:00 p.m. seating. A selection of fine wines from the distinguished Catena Zapata winery will also be available. Cost per person is $150.00 plus tax/gratuity.
Professional tango dancers will provide entertainment throughout the evening, and patrons will have the opportunity to tango with dance instructors.
