Naples Zoo at Caribbean Gardens

Less than 9 miles away from the resort is the nationally accredited Naples Zoo and Caribbean Gardens. As a historical tropical garden, it offers much more than just a walk-through experience.

Enjoy a full day of fun wildlife experiences, shows and close encounters with animals amidst lush greenery. Everything done here is for a noble cause: to encourage and inspire guests to conserve the world’s remaining wild habitats. Here, you can discover facts and information about animals such as cotton-top tamarins, a giant anteater, lions, giraffes, bears, apes and monkeys.

The zoo is also one of only four in the country that cares for endangered African honey badgers. Other rare animals you can see and learn about include American alligators, lemurs, Malagasy fossas, hyenas, zebras and venomous snakes. As a non-profit organization, a visit not only entertains the whole family but also helps spread awareness and educate visitors, especially young ones, about the importance of wildlife care and conservation.
