Our Eco-Friendly Naples Resort
LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort is certified as a Green Business by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection and holds a prestigious Three Palm Designation in the Florida Green Lodging Program.
Recognized with an EPA ENERGY STAR certification and TripAdvisor’s Bronze GreenLeader status, we consistently push beyond baseline eco-standards to preserve and protect our surrounding natural environment. Check out why we’re a green resort in Naples, and what makes us that way.

Water Conservation
The hotel’s water-saving systems, water-miser faucet control valves and toilets, account for a 21% reduction in annual water use.
Minimizing Resort Waste
No more tiny bath bottles. Our guests enjoy luxurious Lather bath and body essentials in large, refillable shower pumps. Along with a plastic straw ban, we recycle kitchen grease into biofuel and compost to divert maximum waste from landfills.

Fresh Air & Coastal Conservation
According to the EPA, indoor air is three times more polluted than outdoor air. We raise indoor air quality by circulating outdoor air through sliding glass doors in all guest rooms, alongside low VOC flooring, sealants, paints and adhesives.
At our marina, six artificial mini-reefs installed with Ocean Habitats, Inc. provide nursery habitat for native marine life. Each unit filters 30,000 gallons of water per year while supporting the growth of up to 500 fish, crabs and shrimp, allowing us to visually monitor development over time.

Eco-Friendly Cleaning Solutions
We use Green Seal-certified cleaning products created automatically on property for an environmentally responsible, as-needed supply. Our team reuses bottles and reduces chemical hazards by using non-irritating cleaners.

Sustainable Transportation
Our guests have access to bicycles to explore Naples safely and comfortably without the hassle of gas, traffic and parking. And if you prefer transport by water, we have kayaks and paddle boards waiting just for you.

Green Hospitality
The Florida Green Lodging Program is a voluntary Florida Department of Environmental Protection initiative recognizing hotels committed to conserving natural resources.
Its environmental guidelines help the hospitality industry evaluate operations, set goals and continuously improve environmental performance.

Ocean-to-Table Cuisine
Our Blue Zone-recognized BALEEN Naples Restaurant and elements Bar feature a menu that brims with traditional selections accompanied by a classy twist, including fresh Florida seafood, terrific steaks and remarkable appetizers.
Our fresh seafood includes Grouper, Gulf Catch Ceviche, Red Snapper, Crab, Gulf Shrimp and more, providing a delicious palate of the senses. The restaurant also serves wonderful breakfasts and lunches as well as a sumptuous Sunday Champagne Brunch. Cuisine here is paired with a selection of wines from our Wine Spectator award-winning list, microbrew beer, and hand-crafted cocktails.

Energy & Carbon Reduction
The resort features LED lighting and sensor controls in guestrooms and public spaces. EcoSmart thermostats shut down unnecessary HVAC cooling to reduce our footprint, while Energy Star equipment and variable frequency drives lower peak demand on the power grid.

Local Community Impact
As a recognized leader in the Naples hospitality community and affiliate of Noble House Hotels & Resorts, LaPlaya Beach and Golf Resort believes in practices that aid and assist its community.
The team’s passion for volunteering benefits a variety of impactful non-profit organizations. LaPlaya proactively assists local and national establishments by donating time, space and services as part of its philanthropic initiatives.

Protecting Sea Turtle Nesting Season
From May 1 – October 31 each year, the beaches in Southwest Florida are key nesting areas for endangered sea turtles. We are lucky enough to host a number of sea turtle nests on our private beach each season, for which we take great care to protect. Guests regularly spot hatchlings being guided to shore by the local conservancy’s stewards that patrol the beaches each morning. Various measures are taken on property to protect this precious species during this time, all of which are detailed for guests to better understand this important part of nature.
